SVP recovered and displayed
WITHOUT using a second PC.

You can even have the best of both
worlds!
When not being used in
stand-alone mode without the need for a second PC or laptop.
You can use Joe's KeyMaker 7
USB and KeyMaker 7 LCD combo attached to a PC's USB port displaying all
operations on the PC screen via a FREE Terminal program and at the
same time see those operation being displayed on the LCD.
At any time you can
switch control back and forth between typing commands on your PC's keyboard
or using KeyMaker 7 LCD's Joystick to initiate commands.
If connected to a PC whatever
functions you perform using the Joystick are displayed on the PC screen
and the LCD at the same time.

All of Joe's KeyMaker 7 USB boards
are shipped with LCD Joystick firmware already programmed.
Depicted below is Joe's KeyMaker 7
USB board together with the optional KeyMaker 7 LCD board powered by the USB port of the locked ThinkPad from which the passwords are
being recovered.
Note: the
USB port is ONLY supplying power, communications with the EEPROM inside the
ThinkPad is via the small diameter red coloured wires visible at the end of the
connector with Yellow, Black and
White coloured wires.
You will have to connect those
wires INSIDE the ThinkPad (TP) before you can use Joe's KeyMaker 7 USB.
Displayed on the LCD are the
recovered SVP and copy of SVP passwords together with the keyboard Language
selected, US in this case.

The
passwords as displayed in the image below are for typing into a US English QWERTY
Keyboard, they can also be displayed for use with a QWERTZ or AZERTY Keyboard, see more
images further down this page.
The ability to select
the type of keyboard installed in the locked TP is really useful in the stand
alone mode.
In the next 3 photos the
SAME SVP is displayed for 3 different Keyboards, US English
QWERTY, DE German QWERTZ, FR French AZERTY.
Imagine how frustrating,
confusing, time consuming things would be without this feature.
Passwords displayed for
use with a US English QWERTY Keyboard.

Same password as in
the first image, this time displayed for use with a DE German QWERTZ Keyboard.

Same password as in
the first image, this time displayed for use with a FR French AZERTY Keyboard.

All operations are performed using the
4 way Joystick [top right in image above] to navigate through menus displayed on
the LCD.
All operations including LSI TPM
such as SVP Recovery, SVP Clear, CRC1 Repair, CRC2 Repair can be performed.
The Red LED indicates that power is
applied to the board, the Green LED lights up during any EEPROM activity.
Joe's
KeyMaker 7 LCD board simply plugs in on top of Joe's KeyMaker 7 USB board

Currently Joe's KeyMaker 7 LCD is sold out -
and there may never be any more.
